Prior UN Resolutions

It was once said of Sergei Lavrov, Ambassador of the Russian Federation
to the United Nations, that if anyone could get the sanctions against Iraq
lifted it was Sergei Lavrov.  Despite his valiant efforts the sanctions 
have remained -- UNTIL NOW.  The price of the sanctions paid in human lives
by the Iraqis is incalculable.

A JUST PEACE (https://panarabunion.tripod.com/peace) quantifies what is due and
owing to Iraq -- war reparations from the USofA's aggression against
Saddam Hussein and the Iraqi people.  The sanctions are, in and of themselves,
a war crime of the USofA. /How could they be meeting in the AZORES
to discuss war?  no one should be allowed to discuss war in the AZORES!/

The insistence of the USofA and their cohorts on a new UN resolution -- 1441 --
was because prior UN resolutions call for the lifting of sanctions.  

The United Nations must recognize and deal with the issue of lifting sanctions,
given that the issue of disarmament has been dealt with.

"IRAQ shall be free; IRAQ shall not be bound; IRAQ shall be compensated."
